Alyson
Dorr has quickly excelled in the fields of Organization Development
and Training. In addition to her work experience as a teacher,
career guidance counselor and internal consultant and trainer
for NASA, she has a lifelong interest in interpersonal dynamics
and personal development, which contributes greatly to her
professional skill set. Ms. Dorr has worked and traveled independently
throughout Europe, Asia and Central America, including teaching
English for Mother Teresa’s Sisters of Charity in Calcutta,
India.

In the field of Organization Development, Ms. Dorr has experience
in creating and facilitating workshops and structured interventions,
performing organizational assessments, and coaching managers
and supervisors at many levels. She accepted the primary responsibility
for management and leadership development, career development
and diversity training at the NASA Research Center during periods
when change was rampant and blatantly disruptive. |
| In addition
to her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from UCLA,
Ms. Dorr has accumulated a significant number of additional
qualifications related to special subject training and assessment
instrumentation. These include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
(MBTI), “Investment in Excellence for the 90/s”
(The Pacific Institute), Diversity Dialogue, “Managing
Transitions” (Dr. William Bridges), The Human Element
(Dr. Will Shutz) and Consulting Skills in Organizational Change
and Development (UCLA Extension Certificate). This is a person
who, like the other associates of Auburn Group, genuinely enjoys
learning as well as teaching. She recently completed her studies
for Certification in Professional Executive Coaching.
